An exclusive collaboration with Barbie. 

The bodice is beaded by hand. 

Inspired by the girl who brought us girl power before girl power even had a name, Barbie is our muse for the "My Muse Tutu Dress"  in Orchid Bloom. The voluminous cascade of ruffles in the knee-length skirt is topped by a comfort-fit, stretch-cotton bodice boldly embellished with sparkles and our she-ro's name. A ruffle on a single adjustable shoulder-strap completes the look with asymmetric flair.

Caring for Tutu du Monde:

Out of the box, we suggest to shake and fluff up the skirt layer by layer to ensure maximum volume.  

Between wears, we recommend spot-cleaning any marks on the tulle, or a very gentle cold handwash if absolutely necessary. Our cottons and knits can be handwashed, and silk garments can be dry cleaned.

Tutu du Monde garments can be steamed, though we recommend a moderate temperature and a safe distance of about 15cm between the garment and the steamer. All  tutus, dresses, skirts, tops, and outerwear are embellished with hand-embroidery, beading and sequins. Embellishments should not be exposed to a steamer under any circumstances, as this could cause them to melt or oxidise, depending on the individual beads or sequins.
